This Week’s Meeting
We want to THANK John Prete for conducting the program last week while we were gone. We had a beautiful trip to the Canadian Rockies – despite the sometimes smoky conditions.
This is the week when we are having an additional meeting – this Wednesday, August 27th. John Watkins will be hosting the meeting and I sure you will enjoy his topics. He would like to show his camera case for taking underwater digital photos and show you a few of them that he took while visiting the Keys. I’m sure he will throw in a picture or two or story from his trip to the Canadian Rockies. Anyway, it’s always nice to see John and his new toys.
Preview Pane in Outlook Express
If you do not wish to view an e-mail while you are looking at the list of messages that have arrived, you can hide it. Click on VIEW and on the dropdown menu click on LAYOUT. At the bottom of the box you need to uncheck PREVIEW PANE.
How do you read your message if you can not see it ------ Double-click on the message that you would like to view – this will open up another window for reading your message. When you are through, then close the window.
What does this do for you ---- you can delete the message without ever reading it. But don’t mistake the fact that you can not see the message – the message IS on your computer. Therefore, if you are worried about a virus from it, remember that many of them come from someone you know. So, please keep your virus protection up-to-date.
