Welcome to the Hoddesdon Radio Club

We are an enthusiastic group of people who enjoy chatting on the radio. Some of us have a dedicated room or a specially appointed radio shack in the garden for our equipment but it is perfectly possible to work from a table in almost any room in the house so long as you have a suitable antenna connection.

We want to encourage others to come and join in the fun. You don't need to be very knowledgable about radio, but if you are interested in the hobby and would like to know more, please contact one of our committee members.

Here is a picture of a typical setup used by our members.

Next Meeting

Our next club meeting is scheduled for 2nd December 2008 (Nibbels & Quiz night)

Why not come along and see what we get up to. We are not a bunch of boffins and it is all about having a fun evening and talking to friends with similar interests. Sometimes we have talks or demonstrations on various topics as well.

Feel free to browse our website. You can also contact a committee member or just call in to one of our meetings. You will be very welcome.
