We have now 'clocked up' 9m impressions on our Presstek 34DI. This press has enabled us to offer cost effective four colour offset printing for short to medium runs up to SRA3 size on a wide range of stocks. ISO 14001: 2004 and environmental news Environmental Policy
Our Environmental Management System was assessed to the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004 in October 2009. Check out Pete's blog at www.hdprint.blogspot.com to see what we are doing now. Early Improvements included: • removing unnecessary lighting in the print factory; • ensuring other lighting and equipment is turned off when not required; • segregating plastic and other recyclables further reducing the amount of waste going to landfill. Other goals are to: • stock more green products for retail sale; • stock more *100% recycled* papers to offer customers; • further reduce the amount of plastic waste produced; • further evaluate energy usage to identify savings; • take steps to reduce our carbon footprint.
